So, Here's Our Story...

We're Tim & Karin. Though we met much later in life, we quickly discovered that 
both of us battled similar issues when it came to trying to keep the pounds off, our entire lives.

Karin had her 25th high school reunion coming up, so both of us found ourselves 
trying to drop those unwanted pounds (yet again). 

I'm sure you all know how it goes... 

When meeting anyone after a long gap, all of dread having to hear words like 
"You've changed so much. You have changes so much!!!
Instead we want to hear words like "Wow. Look at you! You look exactly as in college!" 😍
Am I right? Ladies? Gents?

One thing we both had in common were the restless nights of sleep because of this... 

Another thing we had in common was the the love of wine 🍷 and food and unfortunately, 
when I say food I mean bad food. I mean who doesn't love a great burger 🍔? 

Oh, and I forget about the exercises - we just couldn't get motivated and never had the energy. 
Truth be told, I actually had a little more motivation than Karin. 

During some restless nights, I'd catch Karin raiding the fridge for a midnight snack 
and sometimes she'd be catching me. :-)

The feeling of desperation turned into frustration as it seemed that 
everything we tried just wouldn't work for either of us...

Karin really wanted to go to the reunion, but at the same time she felt like she didn't 
due to the extra lbs we'd both put on. You see back in high school I was what you called a 'Jock.' 
Sports was a huge part of my life back then and I could eat anything I wanted 
as I could burn off all the calories the very next day. 

The last thing I'd want was for my old classmates thinking I'd let myself go' 
so I could completely relate to how Karin was feeling and she was dreading it!

After continuous convincing on my part, we went. While we were there, we ran into one 
of Karin's old friends, Paula, whom I must admit looked absolutely stunning!
